The ProblemEvery May, thousands of students in Blacksburg scramble to move out. We end up paying hundreds of dollars to big storage chains for units we can't even access without a car. It's expensive, stressful, and wasteful.

Meanwhile, our friends in off-campus apartments have empty basements, closets, and garages sitting collecting dust all summer.

The SolutionBoxd was built to connect these two groups. We are a team of Virginia Tech students who wanted to build a safer, cheaper alternative to traditional storage.

By keeping storage within the community, we keep prices low and make moving out as easy as walking down the street.
